FCC Turns the Screws—Releases Damning Report on Withdrawn AT&T/T-Mobile Merger [At&t]
While AT&T’s withdrawl from their merger position does allow the telecom giant to resubmit its request if it can beat a Justice Department antitrust suit over the deal, it may not want to now that the FCC has released its findings. More »

If Google hasn’t fully convinced you that the future is in the cloud, other smaller online storage services are erasing all doubt whatsoever. The company has partnered with electronics manufacturer LG to offer a whopping 50GB of free storage for anyone who purchases LG Android smartphones. Install the Windows Phone 7 NoDo update regardless of your carrier

Android Game Review: Great Little War Game
YouTube link for mobile viewing
What happens if you take one part Advance Wars, one part any tactics game, give it a hilarious storyline with a rough-and-tumble stereotypical general, and release it for Android? Oh, well then you'd have Great Little War Game by Rubicon Development.
In Great Little War Game (or GLWG, as it's named in the app drawer), you're part of Force Blue (my name, not theirs), whose leader, Generalissimo, is hell-bent on eradicating the armies of Force Red. (Red vs. Blue, anyone?!)

Google Voice Search learns Latin American Spanish, Indonesian, and Malaysian
Google Voice Search has just introduced localizations for Latin America, Indonesia and Malaysia, enabling native language search for hundreds of millions of users.
Google’s official blog post offers some interesting insights into the process of collecting and analyzing the speech data needed to expand support. Thousands of hours were spent gathering voice samples and choosing key regional accents to analyze, and International Program Manager Linne Ha is clearly very appreciative of the Google users who helped the company complete the expansion. Without an enthusiastic base of users to lend a hand, Google Voice Search’s polyglot powers would have been nearly impossible to deliver.
